Bryan Danielson will challenge for MJF's AEW World Championship in a 60-minute Iron Man match at Revolution 2023.

That the duo will headline the Sunday, 5 March pay-per-view was confirmed last night, when Danielson defeated Rush one-on-one. In besting the brawler, Danielson completed a gauntlet of opponents laid out by MJF several weeks ago, with the World Champion stating that should Bryan go undefeated in the ring for a full month, he'd get the title shot.

Danielson's hook was the Iron Man stipulation. MJF agreed, his character's arrogance assuming that 'The American Dragon' had an impossible set of hurdles to run before the pay-per-view.

An enraged MJF, who bested Konosuke Takeshita earlier on Dynamite, attacked Danielson after the Rush match, beating him down with the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

Also defeated on Danielson's road to Revolution were Tony Nese, Takeshita, Bandido, Brian Cage, and Timothy Thatcher. The 41-year-old is currently on a nine-match winning streak, with his last defeat coming in a ROH World Title four-way at Full Gear 2022 (19 November).

MJF vs. Danielson is the first match to be announced for AEW Revolution 2023. It'll also be the first time the duo have ever shared a ring.
