Speaking during a virtual signing for East Coast Autograph Auctions (as picked up on by Fightful), Rayne noted that she broke her foot in her most recent match for Ring of Honor. Said bout was a dark match prior to the 13 April 2023 episode of Ring of Honor TV, where Madison came up short against Robyn Renegade.

As the five-time Knockouts Champion detailed:

"My most recent Ring of Honor match, fun fact about this photo, this was moments before I broke my foot, which is why I've been out of commission for the last three months. But fingers crossed, I'll be back in the ring soon."

Rayne would later add:

"I am still in AEW. I am recovering from the injury that I sustained back in April. Hopefully, I will be cleared soon to get back in the ring. But yes, in the meantime, I am still coaching, I am still doing several things backstage, growing into new positions within the company, loving every second of it. Love my job, love where I am in my career right now, and fingers crossed, within the next few weeks, I will be cleared to get back in the ring."

Madison Rayne signed with AEW back in August of last year, with her joining the promotion to serve as both a coach and a wrestler.

Prior to becoming #AllElite, was best known for her several runs in TNA/IMPACT between 2009 and 2022, with the Beautiful People favourite amassing three reigns with the Knockouts Tag Team Titles in addition to the aforementioned reigns as the Knockouts Champion.

Away from IMPACT, as Ashley Lane, the Ohio native notched up some success in SHIMMER - and not so much success in WWE's second Mae Young Classic - while also competing as Madison Rayne for Ring of Honor at points.
