AEW wrestler Dax Harwood says he respects Road Dogg as a legacy performer, but didn't see eye-to-eye with him behind the scenes in WWE.

Harwood, who is launching his own podcast through AdFreeShows soon, did an early interview with the platform about his career. During that, the FTR man told fans that Road Dogg thought he was disrespectful for speaking up before The Revival's epic tag-team classic vs. American Alpha at NXT TakeOver: Dallas in April 2016.

According to Dax, Roadie went to WWE higher-ups and buried him. Later, when fans thought The Revival might debut in a 'Gauntlet' bout on SmackDown, Harwood got heat with Dogg for tweeting that they were stupid for thinking that.

Things got worse when Roadie promised to make sure Dax "never [made] it to the main roster". That resulted in a meeting with WWE management, because the DX legend had overstepped his mark by threatening to personally stifle the development of an up-and-coming star.

The pair clashed again following Raw 25 in January 2018. The Revival bumped around for DX towards the end of the show, but Road Dogg breezed right past Harwood without thanking him backstage.
