AEW TNT Championship STOLEN In Car Break-In
Wardlow vows to still defend missing title against Powerhouse Hobbs on Dynamite.
Someone in California is apparently running around with the AEW TNT Championship... along with Wardlow's wrestling gear and personal belongings after breaking into his rental car Tuesday night.
The new TNT champ posted a video to Twitter showing his vehicle with a broken rear window and nothing but glass inside.
Thanks to the person who broke into my rental car and took absolutely everything from me: my TNT title, my gear, my boots, my whole life were in those bags.
Wardlow then wondered if he'd need to wrestle Powerhouse Hobbs in the street clothes he was wearing at that moment, but he vowed to get to Sacramento for AEW Dynamite to defend his missing TNT Championship.
Might have new gear tomorrow. Will also have an abundance of frustration to take out to say the very least…. Damn pic.twitter.com/07un3lfhd9

Wardlow defeated Samoa Joe at AEW Revolution on Sunday to capture the TNT title for the second time. Last week on Dynamite, Hobbs won the Face of the Revolution ladder match, guaranteeing him a TNT Championship match this Wednesday.
This isn't the first time an AEW title has been stolen. In 2019, just 24 hours after becoming the inaugural AEW Champion, Chris Jericho's title belt was stolen from his rental vehicle while he was eating dinner. The title was found on the roadside the following day, turned over the police and returned to Jericho.
While this is terrible that Wardlow's personal belongings were stolen, we're glad he's OK.
