Eagle-eyed social media users noticed The Bunny had been removed from AEW's public-facing roster page on Thursday, Soon after, PWInsider confirmed the departure, with no additional details.

Bunny, who has previously wrestled as Allie and Cherry Bomb, joined AEW in March 2019, signing with the Tony Khan-helmed group ahead of the inaugural Double or Nothing pay-per-view. She was effectively a day-one AEW wrestler and was entered into a storyline with company executive Brandi Rhodes early in her run, before becoming The Bunny through The Butcher and The Blade's debut angle in November 2019.

Bunny, Butcher, and Blade (her real-life husband) have been aligned ever since. Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian have also been associated with Bunny throughout her run.

Recent times hadn't seen The Bunny keep an active schedule in AEW, with her last match coming at the 6 September Rampage tapings. Before this, she had been out injured between February and August.
