AEW Wrestler Returning For First Time In 3 Months
Welcome back to one of AEW's biggest beefiest boys.
The Butcher's first AEW match since November will air on tonight's episode of Dark: Elevation, the promotion has confirmed.
As well as regular tag team partner The Blade, Butcher teams with Andrade Hardy Family Office's Private Party and Andrade El Idolo to face Capt. Shawn Dean, Carlie Bravo, Baron Black, Jameson Ryan, and Chandler Hopkins on the YouTube show.
Butcher had been out of action since tearing his biceps when he and The Blade faced CHAOS' Tomohiro Ishii and Orange Cassidy on Dynamite's 17 November episode. Prior to and after that, his AEW schedule had been diminished while his band, Every Time I Die, was on tour, though ETID has sadly now split up.
Tonight's episode of Dark: Elevation will also feature AQA's first match since debuting against Jade Cargill, with the former WWE wrestler teaming with Skye Blue and Kiera Hogan against Emi Sakura, Nyla Rose, and Leyla Hirsch.
Elsewhere, indie standouts Violence is Forever (Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini) make their debut, siding with Chico Adams, Ariel Levy, and Dean Alexander against full-timers Daniel Garcia, Gunn Club, and 2point0.
