Several talents contracted to All Elite Wrestling had to pull out of upcoming independent dates this weekend.

Throughout the course of the weekend, Black Label Pro tweeted that Lee Moriarty and Skye Blue, as well as former IMPACT Wrestling star Jake Something (currently a free agent), would no longer be appearing at their Fancy Wrestling event on 1 May. All three had previously been confirmed for the show. The following day, cult promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla confirmed that AEW's Wheeler Yuta, Top Flight, and JD Drake were no longer able to compete at their Delivering the Goods show, which also takes place on 1 May.

Both promotions were forced to reshuffle their cards accordingly.

As reported by PWTorch, the AEW wrestlers pulling out was a result of a change in their home promotion's schedule. AEW moved a Dark taping previously scheduled for 30 April to 1 May, hence why their talent suddenly became unavailable to BLP and PWG on that date. Presumably, Moriarty, Blue, Yuta, Drake, and Top Flight's Dante Martin will be used on the Orlando, Florida tapings.

Top Flight's other Martin, Darius, was recently sidelined by another injury.
