All Elite Wrestling is currently experiencing an injury crisis, with stars like Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, CM Punk, Jungle Boy, and more all sidelined for indefinite periods of time.

Joining them in the treatment room is Adam Cole, who is currently out of action with a torn labrum and a concussion - with recovery from the latter likelier to determine when he will return than the former.

Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that how Cole recovers from the concussion will inform his comeback's timeframe. Currently, the Undisputed Elite member is believed to be "faring better", having been out of action since 26 June's AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

Additionally, Cole has decided against having surgery on his torn labrum. He will instead undergo therapy on an issue he had been working through since his March/April AEW World Title feud with 'Hangman' Adam Page.

All Out 2022 (4 September) will mark the one-year anniversary of Cole joining AEW. The 33-year-old debuted at last year's event, forming the first blow in a one-two punch with Bryan Danielson, who made his All Elite bow in the same show-closing segment minutes later.
