CM Punk's backstage confrontation with Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023 could have real ramifications for both men depending on an internal investigation's results, but Punk's other 27 August "fight" was decidedly unserious.

On Tuesday, Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez stated he'd heard of a near-incident between Miro and Punk. Miro reportedly approached the 44-year-old and asked him about the Perry situation. To this, Punk retorted that if the Bulgarian had a problem, he could step outside.

Fightful Select has since confirmed a backstage interaction between Miro and Punk, albeit with a lighter tone. Miro asked the Chicagoan how he was doing while Punk was being checked over backstage, potentially in the trainer's room, to which Punk responded "Okay, unless you want to fight me too" or similar, doing so in a joking tone.

Miro, who was also joking, said "Okay." Punk then jested that they should take it outside, with the former TNT Champion responding along the lines of "How about we take this... to the ring!".

Per this account, the duo then laughed the situation off. This has been confirmed by sources that "lean definitely each way."

Miro had previously tweeted the following of the initial Punk/Perry reports:

Miro has wrestled exclusively on the Punk-led Collision brand since returning to AEW in June. The 37-year-old is set to face Powerhouse Hobbs at All Out 2023 this Sunday.
