Matt Jackson and wife Dana appeared on What Women Binge with Melissa Joan Hart earlier this week, touching on all kinds of topics relating to their lives and careers in All Elite Wrestling, with the elder Young Bucks sharing his honest appraisal of modern wrestling fans in the process.

The headlining comments were teed-up by Matt sharing a story about his brother, Nick, who recently had a bag vanish during travel (h/t Wrestling Inc.):-

“The other week, my brother’s bag disappeared. Entire bag, gone. He’s still — he’ll never get it back, like, the whole bag is gone and the number is erased so we think someone’s onto us now at the airports. Like, I think we did a little too much bragging online about, ‘Look, we have all these great expensive shoes‘. I think they found us.”

From there, Matt shared his brief thoughts on the hardcore fanbase, both good and bad:-

“Wrestling has the most toxic fanbase in the world. They’re the worst. Honestly, like, there’s a lot of good fans. The ones that love you, love you. But the ones that hate you, they hate you.”

As two of the most divisive wrestlers on the planet, The Young Bucks attract extreme takes on both sides of the spectrum. This is despite their long, acclaimed run in AEW, NJPW, and on the independent scene, unprecedented amongst modern tag teams, throughout which they have continually played important roles for some of the most buzz-worthy promotions on the planet.

But even that isn't enough to stop people from stealing their shoes.
