What does this mean for FTR vs. The Young Bucks?

AEW's Matt Jackson is suffering from legitimate injury problems heading into this weekend's Full Gear 2020 pay-per-view.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Jackson suffered a partially torn MCL and thinning of the ACL while wrestling The Butcher and The Blade on the 22 July episode of Dynamite. This wild, uncontrollable Falls Count Anywhere bout took the teams all over Daily's place, with Matt getting hurt while he and brother Nick executed tandem dives from the entrance tunnels to the stage.

This means that the current Young Bucks vs. FTR feud is an example of a legitimate injury being written into a storyline, as Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood have targeted Matt's leg heading into their match at Full Gear. FTR tried to inflict further damage last night, wrapping a chair around the limb, though they were run off by Kenny Omega and Hangman Page.

Matt believes he will still be able to compete against FTR on Saturday's pay-per-view. The match is one of the most anticipated on the card, as fans have been waiting years to see these teams collide, going back to long before AEW was even conceived.
