AEW's Ricky Starks: "I Talk To Cody Rhodes. I Don't Have Anybody In The Back To Talk To"
'Absolute' on where he goes for advice, and where he doesn't...
Ricky Starks has spoke candidly about who he speaks to for advice in wrestling, and the short answer is - nobody within All Elite Wrestling.
Speaking on the Gabby AF podcast about where he goes for the all-important guidance about his career, he said; (h/t Wrestling Inc)
"I talk to Cody Rhodes. I don't have anybody in the back to talk to...yeah, the other person that I talk to when I can is Bryan [Danielson], but that's not that often. But I don't really have anyone that I talk to, or can go to for advice back there. It is what it is."
Starks is currently one half of the AEW Tag Team Champions alongside Big Bill, having won the gold from FTR in something of an upset on the October 8th 2023 edition of Collision.
He debuted in AEW with a loss to 'The American Nightmare' on the June 11th edition of Dynamite, answering Rhodes TNT Championship open challenge. The pair have remained close ever since, with Starks clocked by security cameras accompanying Rhodes backstage during his own WWE return at last year's Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
