Bad news for AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa, who announced Wednesday night on Dynamite that she cannot defend her title at All Out and will miss at least several weeks of action.

Although Rosa did not disclose the nature of the injury or the amount of time she might miss, she indicated it would be long enough for AEW to move forward with tapping an interim champion at next weekend's All Out PPV. Later on, it was revealed that Toni Storm, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Jamie Hayter and Hikaru Shida will compete in a four-way match at the PPV for the interim title.

Storm, who has been teaming with Rosa recently as ThunderStorm, is currently ranked #1 in AEW's power rankings, while Baker is #2 and Hayter is #5. However, former women's champ Shida is not ranked. The others in the top five are Athena (#3) and Anna Jay (#4). No word on why neither of them were tapped for the four-way match.

Rosa won the AEW Women's World Championship in March, defeating Baker in a steel cage match at St. Patrick's Day Slam. She's defended the title against the likes of Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir, Serena Deeb, Storm and Hayter.
