During last night's SmackDown tapings in Evansville, Indiana it was announced that AJ Lee would be the special guest referee for the WWE Title match between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan at the forthcoming WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view. On this week's SmackDown (spoilers ahead), Daniel Bryan came out during a WWE Divas Title match between Layla and AJ Lee and distracted his former girlfriend which caused her to lose the match. Bryan then got on the mic and said he was sick of this kind of thing happening to him and that he wanted AJ banned from ringside for his WWE title shot at WWE Money in the Bank. SmackDown General Manager for the night Vickie Guerrero instead declared that AJ would be the guest referee for the match! The current card for Money in the Bank is shaping up like this; WWE Title CM Punk (c) vs. Daniel Brayn Special Guest Referee: AJ Lee WWE World Heavyweight Title Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (although this match has yet to be officially announced by the WWE, it is expected) WWE Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match John Cena vs Big Show vs Chris Jericho vs Kane (the participants in this match can only be former WWE Champions, which could mean Rey Mysterio will end up in the match as he is due to return to WWE Television next week. Other surprise entrants could also be possible, probably The Miz) WWE World Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match Damien Sandow vs Tyson Kidd vs Christian vs Santino Marella vs Tensai (more qualifiying matches will take place at next week's SmackDown live event but those who already failed to qualify are Cody Rhodes, Zack Ryder, Justin Gabriel, Jack Swagger and David Otunga. At this point we would expect Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler to win qualifiying matches next week to be included in the contest). WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view is due to take place on July 15th, 2012 from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
