AJ Styles Potentially Reveals WWE Royal Rumble Involvement

'You put me in that Royal Rumble and I'm gonna kick some ass for you guys.'

AJ Styles cut a promo at a recent Revolution Pro UK show, in which he flirted with the idea of being an entrant at Sunday's Royal Rumble. The 'Phenomenal One' cut a post-match promo in which he mentioned not knowing what the future holds, but responded to fans' chants of "Royal Rumble" by stating: 'I tell you what€if I€™m not recovering from some weird armbar submission and there€™s a spot in the Royal Rumble€I€™ll tell you what, I don€™t deserve a thing. I don€™t deserve you but I€™ll tell ya€ you put me in that Royal Rumble and I€™m gonna kick some ass for you guys!' This is the second time Styles has toyed with fans' emotions regarding his potential WWE status, having playfully denied being busy on January 24th in our very own interview earlier this week. More solid evidence can perhaps be found in the fact that WWE themselves posted an article on WWE.com earlier this month, questioning whether Styles was on his way to the company (along with fellow former NJPW stars Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows). WWE would be unlikely to even mention rival talent - particularly wrestlers of such popularity - unless they had some sort of future with the company, so we can perhaps assume that we will indeed see AJ in a WWE ring at some point. This recent promo will only fuel speculation that he'll be there sooner rather than later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lK8THFknsA
