Alexa Bliss Returning To WWE Imminently
WWE making plans for the former Women's Champion's 2025 return
Alexa Bliss is reportedly set to make her long-awaited return to WWE programming after a prolonged absence.
This is according according to the ever-reliable WrestleVotes, who noted that the return was "on the horizon" and that "Creative is reportedly working her into future plans, with merchandise and promotional materials already in development." The post added that the information came from a "well-placed source".
Bliss last wrestled in January 2023 at the Royal Rumble, where she unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. Following the match, she disappeared from view, in a move that was shrouded in mystery at the time. It was later revealed that Bliss was dealing with personal health challenges, including a procedure to remove skin cancer cells. From there, much happier life-changing news emerged; the run-up to and birth of her first child in November 2023.
The former SmackDown and Raw Women's Champion's return has nonetheless remained a topic of interest for fans, often teasing her eventual return. As recently as the end of 2024, some cryptic hints implying a return encouraged many to think she may be part of the Wyatt Sicks after prior links with the late Bray Wyatt.
That didn't materialise, but it's likely speculation will mount that she could return at the very event she took her previous final bow. The 2025 Royal Rumble takes place on February 1st, and WWE typically leave slots open for surprises and the pops that come with them. More on the potential of Bliss and others like her walking that specific aisle as and when it breaks.
