16. Rhea Ripley

For a relative unknown heading into the tournament (at least compared to some of the bigger stars such as LeRae, Sane, and Storm), Rhea Ripley was a breath of fresh air. The Australian brought a manic energy to both of her matches which, although on the short side, were unquestionably entertaining affairs.

Her first round bout with Miranda Salinas was a good introduction to her frantic style, before an unpredictable all-Antipodean clash with New Zealand's Dakota Kai solidified Ripley as one to watch for the future. She showed great promise throughout, and can hold her head high despite a fairly early exit.
