Crown Jewel 2018 was proof positive that WWE will see their deal with the Saudi Arabian Sports Authority through to the bitter 2028 end regardless of public or ethical outcry, but the failure to get talent back 24 hours later due to still-not-fully-disclosed reasons highlighted yet another jagged edge to the deal.

WWE made this monied bed - they'll be forced to lie in for the remainder of its existence.
