Result: Kazarian counters a Doomsday Device into a slam for the win (12:33).

Rating: This was a highly entertaining bout to get the pre-show started, and was a great example of how curtain jerk matches don't need to be cynical, dull also-rans.

It hit the ground running and didn't let up for the entirety: Scorpio Sky and Kazarian pulled off some cracking high-risk work - Kazarian's Hurricanarana! - while the Briscoes milked their well-honed heel shtick for every drop it was worth.

The final sequence was fantastic and a great way to end a very good opener. 7/10
