Sami Zayn vs. Johnny Knoxville wasn't the only 'Mania match WWE changed on SmackDown.

WWE has added Shayna Baszler and Natalya to the upcoming Women's Tag-Team Title match at WrestleMania 38.

The pair ran in during a bout pitting Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Naomi and Sasha Banks on the latest SmackDown - reigning champs Queen Zelina and Carmella also got involved, which led to a staredown between both sets of heels.

Later, Sonya Deville revealed that Baszler and Natalya would get their shot at 'Mania. That means the proposed three-way (Zelina/Carmella vs. Ripley/Morgan and Naomi/Banks) has now been changed to a four-way clash.

There had been concerns about where Shayna, in particular, was heading on the blue brand. This pairing with Nattie (and the WrestleMania berth itself) won't change that, but at least she has some direction after months of doing pretty much nothing.

The Women's Tag Title fray is a blatant excuse to squeeze as many names onto the 'Mania weekender as possible. Nobody should grudge anybody a bigger-than-normal payday, but the four-way tag is functional rather than outright exciting.

Baszler and Natalya, despite basking in the spotlight on Friday night, are very much there to make up the numbers.
