Hot on the heels of WWE releasing 21 NXT UK talents, that number has now seemingly been increased to 22.

As picked up on by PWInsider, Sam Gradwell is another who has had their official WWE.com profile moved to the Alumni section.

Gradwell was one of the 16 participants in the January 2017 tournament to crown the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion. There, the Blackpool native toppled Saxon Huxley in the opening road, before then losing to Pete Dunne at the quarter-finals stage. The 31-year-old subsequently worked several WWE UK shows and specials before signing with NXT UK in July 2018 shortly after the brand's launch.
