Less than 24 hours after Matt Riddle formally got his first name back on WWE Raw, Mr. Money in the Bank has been given the same treatment.

Known as just "Theory" since April, when Vince McMahon decided that his forename created confusion with the legendary 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Austin Theory has his full monicker back. PWInsider reports that the 25-year-old is to revert to his original pro wrestling ring name immediately.

Paul 'Triple H' Levesque appears to be going through this process with multiple wrestlers who had their stage names changed under McMahon's leadership. Angel Garza is another rumoured for a potential switch-up, though his is yet to be confirmed.

PWInsider notes that McMahon's old name-changing edict is over. Presumably, this means WWE will no longer be shortening wrestlers' names or altering those used prior to signing with WWE.

Austin Theory is currently locked in a Raw feud with former The Way stablemate Johnny Gargano, who returned from a nine-month WWE hiatus on last week's episode of Raw. Theory, a former United States Champion, has not yet come close to cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase he won in July.
