Updates on All Elite Wrestling's still-ongoing investigation in the post-All Out 2022 keep coming through, with the latest coming from the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer reported in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the threat of legal action stemming from the 4 September incident was holding everything up. Now, on the Observer/Figure Four Online message board, he has stated:-

One person has threatened legal action and been uncooperative.

That legal action could stem from the All Out incident was reported within hours of the story first coming to light. AEW's Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Megha Parekh, was reportedly in the vicinity of the fight, having spoken to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks prior to them entering CM Punk's locker room.

Accounts of what happened following Punk's incendiary words at the post-All Out press scrum vary. Nonetheless, most agree that The Elite went into Punk's room where a brawl broke out, with Punk punching Nick Jackson at least once, while producer Ace Steel bit Omega and pulled his hair.

All involved parties were suspended as AEW commissioned a third-party investigation. Staff members who entered the locker room and attempted to break the fight up have since had their suspensions lifted.
