With previous reports indicating that Edge will end up opting to challenge for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship at WrestleMania 37, many are speculating whether WWE would choose to have the Rated-R Superstar end Roman’s reign of dominance.

In a new report from the Wrestling Observer, WWE has still yet to decide who’ll emerge victorious at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals.

This same report also details Edge and Daniel Bryan’s roles on the WWE creative team these days, with both wrestlers having significant promo team in the build to this year’s Royal Rumble. Where the pair differ, though, is that Bryan is constantly looking at ways to get other wrestlers over, while Edge was pushing for a title shot at WrestleMania 37.

Many fans had pegged D-Bry as the man to win the Royal Rumble and go on to face the High Chief at ‘Mania, although that Rumble win obviously didn’t happen. At this stage, it’s not known what WWE has in mind for Bryan at WrestleMania 37.

If WWE is struggling to settle on something for Daniel Bryan at the Granddaddy of Them All, how 'bout they just give us Bryan vs. Cesaro and let them get 20 minutes?
