Per Mike Johnson over at PWInsider.com, FTR are tied down to long-term contracts with AEW and recent teases of departing the company later this year were all merely designed to fool people.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler last appeared on AEW programming on the 12 December episode of Dynamite, where they lost to the Gunn Club. Shortly after that, fans were told how FTR were going away for a while as they let their bodies and minds heal up and contemplate their future.

Utilising his FTR with Dax Harwood podcast, Dax has discussed in detail how the team's AEW contracts were up in April, and how the pair had a major decision to make on whether to remain with All Elite Wrestling, return to WWE, or try their hands elsewhere. Now, this latest PWInsider report notes how this hiatus and contract talk was merely part of a storyline, and that Dax and Cash are tied down for the long-term with AEW.

For those who missed Revolution, FTR returned and laid out Austin and Colten Gunn after the AEW Tag Team Champions retained their gold against the Acclaimed, Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen.
