Although Jungle Boy often goes by his real name, Jack Perry, on All Elite Wrestling programming these days, this hasn't been reflected internally.

Fightful Select notes that the former Jurassic Express man isn't being listed as "Jack Perry" behind the scenes. He is still going by his original ring name.

Although announcer Jim Ross has referred to Jungle Boy by his real name for years, the 25-year-old didn't start using it himself until the build to his All Out 2022 match with Christian Cage. Billed as 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry for that 4 September match, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion received the same treatment on the 23 September episode of Rampage, where he faced Rey Fenix.

Perry remains locked in a feud with Cage, who orchestrated Luchasaurus attacking his former tag team partner after defeating Fenix on Rampage. Christian, unfortunately, will be sidelined for a lengthy period after suffering a torn triceps prior to All Out, meaning Jungle Boy will likely continue the storyline with Luchasaurus.

It's likely that the next few weeks whether or not Jungle Boy's transition to Jack Perry is permanent. If so, it'll be a reflection of his character, which retains Tarzan-like motifs from its early days but has largely moved on from overt gimmickry.
