There are conflicting reports on why Luke Harper is missing from WWE television. Justin LaBar of WrestleZone is reporting that Harper missed Raw this week due to personal reasons. However, PWInsider are reporting it was a creative decision. Others are outright speculating that Harper was removed after being involved in a kayfabe busting photo posted on Chris Jericho's instagram. The likeliest explanation, is that Harper is genuinely missing time for personal reasons. Other superstars featured in Jericho's photo and it isn't like they've gone missing from television. The return of Erick Rowan looks like it just worked out as good timing. It isn't like they scrapped Harper and replaced him with Rowan. You'd imagine that the whole Wyatt Family will be back together very soon. Harper is one of the best big-man workers currently in WWE, capable of both brawling and flying through the ring. He's well liked and highly rated by his peers. In many ways, it is a shame that he came to WWE so late. He turns 36 this year, but with his look and size, he could have been pushed as a much bigger star if he'd got to WWE sooner. He's now likely to take a back seat to Braun Strowman, Vince McMahon's new favourite superstar.
