Despite not appearing on All Elite Wrestling television for several months, Marko Stunt is still contracted to the promotion, reports Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Stunt lasted competed for AEW at the company's 29 September Dark: Elevation tapings, where he teamed with Fuego Del Sol in a loss to The Pinnacle's Shawn Spears and Wardlow. His last Dynamite bout was a 10-man tag on the show's 11 March 2021 episode. In addition, Stunt has vanished from his role in Jurassic Express, not even accompanying partners Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus in their AEW World Tag Team Title win over The Lucha Brothers on this week's Dynamite.

In Marko's absence, Christian Cage has become Jurassic Express primary affiliate - though they obviously play vastly different roles.

As part of his write-up, Meltzer notes that AEW does not release wrestlers who are under contract unless it's a disciplinary matter. That being said, while the promotion will likely let go of certain wrestlers by not renewing their expiring deals in the future, Stunt won't necessarily be amongst that number.

Marko has been with AEW since May 2019, debuting at that year's Double Or Nothing.
