With PAC having made his return (via video) to AEW TV on this week’s episode of Dynamite, now comes an update on the current plans for the Bastard.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that creative plans are already in place for PAC’s return to in-ring action, although it’s not yet known just what exactly those plans are. More importantly though, there is a slight hitch to any plans involving the former NXT Champion.

PAC had been forced out of action for the past seven months due to the ongoing global situation, with many questioning whether or not the Geordie grappler will be able to fly to Florida for AEW programming right now.

It’s not actually getting PAC to the USA that’s the problem here, for he’s fine to fly out for AEW shows. The issue is instead when the Bastard returns home to the UK. Under current restrictions, PAC would be required to spend two weeks in quarantine each and every time he returns home to the UK after working a set of AEW tapings.

Either way, AEW is clearly keen to have PAC back competing in the squared circle, with the ridiculously talented star capable of being a genuine top tier player for Tony Khan’s promotion.

As to what PAC will have on his plate once he makes his return to action, there are so many options on the table right now. One obvious spot for the Bastard would be fitting back in alongside his Death Triangle cohorts of Penta El Zero and Rey Fenix, with a rivalry with Eddie Kingston one such option. Then again, PAC is the sort of performer who could easily be slotted in to go up against Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship should Mox retain the belt at this weekend’s Full Gear PPV.
