According to a new report from Fightful Select, the reason for Green’s continued absence is simply down to creative having nothing for her at this time.

The last time that the Canadian was seen on NXT was in a victorious effort as she teamed with Charlotte Flair to best Io Shira and Rhea Ripley. At that time, Green was removed from NXT TV with the plan to imminently move the one-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion to either Raw or SmackDown.

If online scuttlebutt is to believed, Raw was to be the destination for Chelsea until Paul Heyman was removed from his position as the Executive Director of WWE’s red brand.

Taking to Twitter earlier this month, the former Tough Enough contestant seemed to vent her frustration at her current situation.

Similarly, Vanessa Borne was another who WWE pulled out of NXT earlier this year in order to move her to the main roster – yet Borne has likewise been left in limbo for the past several months.
