Backstage WWE Update On Jade Cargill's Main Roster Role
New details emerge on Jade Cargill's immediate main roster future.
Having made her WWE in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble last month, many fans have speculated what's next for Jade Cargill.
While both Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have been seen on WWE programming trying to sign Cargill to their respective brands, it looks like Aldis may be the one to win out here - at least in the short-term.
Via PWInsider, there has been talk of having Jade appear as part of the SmackDown brand in the build to WrestleMania XL. Whether that means she does end up on Smackers remains to be seen, and the phrasing used could also indicate that Cargill might ultimately end up on Raw once 'Mania is in the rear-view mirror.
In addition to this, WWE is said to be "thrilled" with Jade Cargill's role in the Mountain Dew Super Bowl commercial, where the former AEW TBS Champion hits Parks and Recreation fave Aubrey Plaza with a frog splash. This has been viewed as bringing prestige to both Jade and WWE, and also follows on from the plentiful internal praise That Bitch received for her Royal Rumble outing.
With WrestleMania XL looming large, we'll have to wait and see what role Jade Cargill may have at the Showcase of the Immortals, although there's a mild spoiler on some other Jade plans.
