Having not been seen on WWE programming since an appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35, Luke Harper finally made his return to WWE television at this month’s Clash of Champions PPV.

While it’s fantastic to see the criminally underutilised Harper back in action, many fans have commented on how the former Wyatt Family member looks a little smaller in size. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is down to a recent neck injury.

Harper had been down at the WWE Performance Center just days before returning at Clash of Champions, and one of the main reasons for him being there was to have said neck injury checked out by WWE doctors before thankfully being given the all-clear.

Due to this neck issue, however, the one-time Intercontinental Champion and two-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion has seemingly been unable to workout in the way that he usually would.

Regardless of having a slightly smaller physique, it’s just great to see Luke Harper back on SmackDown and involved in one of WWE’s biggest angles – Harper, of course, reuniting with Erick Rowan to go after Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

Harper and Rowan will battle that team of Reigns and D-Bry at WWE’s Hell in a Cell PPV on October 6th.
