Bad News Barrett And Daniel Bryan's WWE Return Dates Announced

Both superstars have been added to the upcoming European tour, but will they actually compete?

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has announced the return dates for two currently injured superstars. The sports entertainment company and its superstars will be touring around Europe from November 5th through the 15th. Both Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan have been announced as taking part in the European tour with Barrett returning on the 5th at London€™s Wembley Arena. Bryan, on the other hand, will supposedly be making his return on the 6th in Cardiff. While these announced dates are a good sign, they should not be taken as official confirmation just yet. Barrett has been out since separating his shoulder at the June 24th Smackdown taping, which subsequently required surgery. A November 5th return may seem quite sudden, but it€™s not far off of original projections. Initially, Barrett was rumored to return sometime before or around the 2015 Royal Rumble. Since then, Barrett himself stated that doctors told him he could probably return at some point in December. If the surgery and successive rehabilitation went well, then it is very likely that the former Intercontinental Champion could return at the beginning of November. Daniel Bryan€™s return, on the other hand, seems to be a bit of a stretch. He too was rumored to be out until around the Rumble, and news just came in last week that he may have to undergo Tommy John surgery. While Bryan€™s neck surgery has been deemed a success, the strength in his right arm has not fully returned. Therefore, doctors have been looking into performing another procedure on his arm. If these rumors are to be believed -- as well the speculation of a three month timetable for recovery -- it would seem that Daniel may not be ready come November 6th. However, if the Tommy John operation is performed soon, Bryan may be ready for a return to active competition by the end of November or beginning of December. Perhaps he will be appearing on the tour in a non-wrestling capacity, in order to garner interest for his subsequent return. As with any and all WWE events, the card is always subject to change. These may not be definitive return dates for either superstar -- especially in the case of Daniel Bryan. However, it is definitely plausible that both competitors could step back inside a WWE ring come November. Whether it will be in a competitive role or not remains to be seen. Regardless, fans are undoubtedly hoping for both Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan to return soon. Will Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan return to in-ring competition for the upcoming European tour? Or is WWE rushing both men to recovery? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
