Baron Corbin was only announced as Kurt Angle's opponent in the Olympian's WrestleMania 35 "Farewell Match" on last night's Raw, but there's already talk that the former Raw 'Constable' will be substituted for somebody else.

This speculation comes from former NBC Sports and Bleacher Report reporter Justin LaBar. He tweeted the following last night:-

It's safe to assume few would be disappointed if Corbin is replaced, given the negative response to last night's announcement. Someone like John Cena would almost certainly be received better, and while fans shouldn't necessarily get their hopes up for a substitution, there's every chance WWE are only trolling the audience with Baron at the moment.

Angle had promised to name his WrestleMania opponent prior to last night's Raw. He chose Corbin, whom he promised to make tap in his "Farewell Match," before fellow Olympian Chad Gable came to the ring for an exhibition bout.

Kurt was victorious against the former Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion, but was met with Baron soon after, as the former 'Constable' promised to "humble and embarrass" Angle in his final bout. Corbin would then go on to lose to Apollo Crews later in the evening.
