Batista To Appear On Tonight's WWE Raw
'The Animal' is back!
WWE have confirmed that Batista will meet Triple H face-to-face on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, and there will be an Intercontinental Championship match between the current champ Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley.
Batista made a shock return to WWE television two weeks ago when he attacked Ric Flair backstage before the 'Nature Boy' could come to the ring for his 70th birthday celebration, and after refusing to appear on last week's show in Philadelphia, 'The Animal' will return to Raw this week to confront Triple H.
Many fans are speculating that this showdown could lead to Batista's first WWE match in five years. A Triple H-Batista WrestleMania match has been highly anticipated since Big Dave first alluded to it on SmackDown 1000 back in October, and he hasn't made a secret of his desire to compete on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' once more.
Tonight's Raw will also see Finn Balor defending his Intercontinental Championship against Bobby Lashley. Balor won the title in February at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view after pinning Lashley's partner Lio Rush in a two-on-one handicap match.
Here's hoping tonight's match will conclude this feud and allow Balor to build towards an exciting WrestleMania title programme.
