With yesterday seeing former World of Stardom Champion Bea Priestley announce her tearful farewell from the promotion and Japan, there’s now a major update on where the talented performer’s future lies.

As per the Wrestling Observer, Priestley is departing Japan and is not signing with AEW. While it wasn’t outright said that Bea will be heading to WWE, Dave Meltzer stated how she is going to “the place she’s not allowed to say if she’s going there” – which clearly alludes to Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut.

Priestley reported turned down WWE back in early 2019 shortly before she made her AEW bow at Fight for the Fallen in July of that year. Having formally become #AllElite and appeared sporadically on Dynamite and Dark, Priestley was released by AEW in August 2020.

In an interesting note, Bea Priestley and her boyfriend Will Ospreay both challenged for World Titles at near-enough the same time on Sunday. While Priestley would come up short again World of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita, Ospreay was successful in dethroning Kota Ibushi to become the new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
