Bea Priestley Signing With WWE?
Here's where Bea Priestley will likely land if she signs with WWE.
Bea Priestley is "almost surely" signing with WWE.
This is according to Dave Meltzer, who writes in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the free agent will likely end up on NXT UK, adding that WWE's internal rules mean nobody can comment on the matter until the signing is announced - hence the "almost surely."
Meltzer reported in April that Priestley was heading to "the place she's not allowed to say if she goes there," without mentioning WWE by name.
Priestley last wrestled on STARDOM's Yokohama Dream Cinderella in Spring show on 4 April, where she fell to World of STARDOM Champion Utami Hayashishita. After that match, Bea announced she was leaving the promotion, having been a regular fixture there since debuting in October 2017.
NXT UK currently boasts a growing women's division highlighted by champion Kay Lee Ray, Japanese legend Meiko Satomura, and up-and-comers like Dani Luna and Aoife Valkyrie. Prestley, who was released by AEW for her inability to travel from Japan to the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic, has previously told talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy that she turned WWE's UK imprint down in 2019.
