The Raw Women's Champion's rebuttal came when Fightful published a report citing Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, who had previously claimed 'The Man' scored an expected five-year deal worth $1 million p/a sometime last year.

Lynch quote-tweeted Fightful's story with the following response:-

This isn't the first time she has teased her future in recent weeks, having posted this on 30 December:-

Of course, 'The Man' is almost certainly working here. People will speculate, but at the end of the day, she's one of WWE's top stars, a long-reigning Women's Champion, an extremely marketable commodity, and destined to play a role at or around the top of the card for years to come, plying her trade in the world's biggest promotion. There's no way Vince McMahon wouldn't do everything in his power to keep her around and little chance Becky would consider working on a smaller stage.

Lynch will defend her Raw Women's Title against Asuka at Royal Rumble 2020 (26 January). A rumoured WrestleMania 36 showdown with Shayna Baszler has been hinted after that, though we'll have to wait and see.
