Being the Elite is no more.

That's according to Dave Meltzer's Friday news update on F4WOnline, with it being explained that the long-running weekly YouTube series isn't just going on hiatus, it's done. There are currently no plans to bring back the super popular Elite show any time soon.

The Elite haven't featured in an episode for a month at this point. And this latest update of BTE being over for good comes in the wake of Brandon Cutler recently revealing on X/Twitter that "Sources close to Matt and Nick are telling me that they have officially finished up with Being The Elite."

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter also talked about how the Bucks had trademarked the likes of KTB (Killing The Business) and Superd**k Party for merch when they make their return to screens as repackaged heels - though the former trademark is only currently for use in outside AEW projects.

A heel faction alongside Cutler also appears to be the direction for the AEW EVPs, and Colt Cabana's name was also brought up as another potential member. But that wasn't a certainty at time of reporting.

There's also currently no real news on precisely when AEW will opt to unleash this new Bucks heel group on the promotion. However, one thing seems clear: After being an important part of the wrestling landscape since all the way back in May 2016, the days of BTE are shockingly over.
