5. No Way Jose: Elias

The obvious match-up for a charismatic baby-face like No Way Jose is The Miz, a detestable heel whose arrogant 'I'm better than you' shtick lends itself so readily to ridicule - but he's said to be taking a break from the ring, so Elias will have to do instead.

To be fair, that's not exactly a bad back-up option. WWE's resident rockstar is comfortably one of the most charismatic wrestlers on the Monday Night Raw roster, and you can easily see some entertaining back and forths between him and his fellow NXT grad on the microphone.

The dissolution of brand-exclusive Network events means that feuds of this level - what you might call "lower mid-card" now have a serious problem though, namely the fact that they are likely to face increasing competition to land a spot on pay-per-view.

As such, it's possible that - should it happen - the duo will be confined to a prolonged programme on Raw. That doesn't have to be a death knell for the feud, of course, but it means the promo work would have to be on point.
