Having become a free agent after departing the NWA at the turn of the year, Kamille has finally made her presence known on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

Despite interest from WWE, it was reported in April that Kamille had actually signed with AEW back in February. As such, many were waiting to see the former NWA Women's Champion turn up on AEW programming, which is exactly what we got last night.

In an absolutely perfect role for her, Kamille attacked Britt Baker and aligned herself with Mercedes Moné on Dynamite. This came after Mercedes gave an emphatic "no" to defending her TBS Title against D.M.D., which itself came moments after Britt had picked up a win over Hikaru Shida. With Baker starting at Moné, Kamille appeared and laid the Role Model out with a big boot before hitting her torture rack into a spinning powerbomb move.

This wasn't technically Kamille's first appearance on AEW TV, for she briefly appeared on the August 2021 Homecoming Dynamite ahead of her NWA Women's World Title match against Leyla Hirsch at NWA EmPowerrr later that month.

For those not familiar with Kamille, the 31-year-old made her in-ring debut back in 2017 before joining the NWA the following year and becoming a part of Nick Aldis' Strictly Business stable. After defeating Serena Deeb for the NWA Women's World Title in June 2020, Kamille embarked on a mammoth 812-day reign with that prize before dropping it to Kenzie Page last August.

Kamille became a free agent on 1 January this year, turning down the option to trigger a six-month extension with the NWA. And now, she's arrived on AEW TV in a major way, laying out one of the company's top stars and joining forces with one of the promotion's other biggest names.
