Bobby Lashley has become the latest WWE wrestler to affiliate himself with MVP over the past few days, starting with a Money in the Bank 2020 switcheroo that saw 'The Almighty' replace his former Impact Wrestling rostermate against R-Truth, before the story continued on last night's Raw.

Lashley smashed an overmatched Humberto Carrillo in his latest squash victory. A backstage segment in which MVP heaped praise on Bobby followed, with the veteran urging Lashley to become the dominator of old. Lana strolled up as MVP departed, flipping out when the former United States Champion said that if Lashley wanted a way out, Bobby should come and see him.

MVP and associates Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink fell to R-Truth, Ricochet, and Cedric Alexander later in the show. Lashley re-emerged to bludgeon Truth afterwards, continuing his assimilation into what looks like a growing stable.

Lashley and MVP have previously worked together as part of an Impact trio with Kenny King.

Things aren't looking so rosy for Zelina Vega's gang, however. Angel Garza, Andrade, and Austin Theory have had little luck since coming together under Vega's banner and staged another argument after Garza's win over Akira Tozawa last night, leading to Drew McIntyre coming out and murdering everyone.
