A very eventful post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw was punctuated by a dramatic return to the company by Bobby Lashley.

Lashley, who last worked for WWE just over a decade ago, announced his comeback by soundly crushing Elias during an impromptu concert by the latter. The songster was put to bed by the impressive-looking 41 year-old with a delayed vertical suplex.

The original Boss has been plying his trade for Impact for the past three years, holding the company's top title as recently as July. He was released from back in January, and has been heavily linked with a WWE return in the interim.

During his first run in Stamford, Lashley bagged both the ECW and US titles, but arguably his greatest accomplishment was playing avatar for Donald Trump in the POTUS' hair-vs-hair match opposite Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 23. The show became the most bought WWE event in history on the strength of the gimmick bout.

A six-month injury layoff back in 2008 was the precursor for Lashley's release, after which he also competed in MMA alongside his independent bookings. He currently holds a 15-2 record in combat sports.
