The latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported a very interesting fact regarding two of the most popular theme songs in all the company. According to the publication, CFO$'s "Glorious Domination" - the entrance music for current NXT Champion Bobby Roode - was originally written for the previous champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.

When Nakamura joined WWE in early 2016, WWE planned a grand entrance for one of Japan's top superstars. At the same time, Nakamura promised his fans that he was going to take a very hands-on approach to his character and portrayal in the company, and part of that included his entrance music. Nakamura simply didn't feel that the music fit him, and they went back to the drawing board. The result was "The Rising Sun," Nakamura's current theme and the most downloaded song in all of WWE.

Things clearly worked out well for Nakamura, but it can't be overstated how valuable "Glorious Domination" has been to Bobby Roode's career. Though a solid worker, an argument could be made that Roode isn't as immediately compelling as stars like Nakamura and Samoa Joe, and his "Glorious" entrance has unquestionably played a huge part in his popularity.
