Bray Wyatt confirmed today that he'd be "back soon", following a brief Twitter back-and-forth with Cagesideseats.com Editor Sean Rueter.

Responding to a piece on the 'New Face Of Fear' (which was, in itself a rebuttal to another Wyatt tweet) Wyatt posted the following, slightly-more conclusive comment that implied a rumoured return was indeed imminent:

Bray's Twitter - like the bulk of his main roster run - has been both a blessing and curse for his fans in recent weeks. Tweets have included a cryptic reply to former hypnosis victim Xavier Woods and rather artful shots of him with his own custom-made WWE Championship belt.

Various sources have reported him as a potential WrestleMania contender for The New Daniel Bryan, particularly since former Wyatt devotee Rowan sidled up to the WWE Champion at January's Royal Rumble.

Bray hasn't appeared on television since a tag team loss alongside Matt Hardy on the August 13th edition of Monday Night Raw. He's made 14 house show appearances ever since, but - as of writing - hasn't appeared once in 2019.

In partial defence of Rueter's original critique, "soon" is still pretty cryptic, but it's as clear as Bray's been online or otherwise in years.
