Bray Wyatt returned to the 'Firefly Fun House' for the first time in a long time on Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown.

LA Knight, who wrestles Wyatt in a mysterious "Pitch Black" match at the 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view on 28 January, beat a local enhancement worker before he was interrupted by his main rival. Familiar characters like Ramblin' Rabbit and Mercy The Buzzard then showed face before Bray was shown fixing the Fun House door.

'Uncle Howdy' even stopped by to tell everyone that he warned them this would happen, because Wyatt couldn't continue running away from his past. The intriguing segment was typical Firefly fare, but it did keep the trend going of Bray rushing through some of his prior characters.

It'll probably be a while before fans see the creepy children's TV set again though. This smacked of a one-off designed to unnerve Knight before the Rumble showdown more than anything, but it was a fun (ahem) blast from the past.

There's no word quite yet on exactly how the "Pitch Black" match (sponsored by Mountain Dew) will work in San Antonio. Everyone's still waiting on WWE to drop some clues there.
