Bray Wyatt DONE With WWE? Latest Rumours On Physical Issues, Creative Differences, More
Bray Wyatt's WWE future thrown into question after missing Madison Square Garden event.
Bray Wyatt's WWE status was yesterday the subject of heavy speculation in the wake of his failure to make an advertised appearance on a 12 March live event, though it sounds like a "physical issue" was behind the absence.
This is according to people within WWE, at least. Fightful Select reports that Wyatt is sidelined due to the aforementioned "physical issue" at the moment. Sources have indicated that there is currently no word on when, exactly, Bray will be back on television.
Rumours that Wyatt had walked out of WWE swirled on Monday, with "creative differences" cited as the reason, putting him out of WrestleMania 39. Fightful has not been able to confirm this - nor has the outlet been told the story from people within WWE.
As well as the 12 March show in Madison Square Garden, Wyatt has also been pulled from several other live events and SmackDown episodes. He is currently in line to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania. Lashley's recent onscreen actions have furthered the feud, despite Bray's absence.
Fightful notes, too, that Wyatt has not been factored into plans for the last two SmackDown shows, though his costumes and materials were sent to the events.
One WWE source has outright denied that Wyatt walked out of the promotion due to creative issues. The writing team has been informed that Bray is out due to an illness. Per a separate update, his isn't expected to be a long-term absence.
Wyatt, 35, has been back in WWE since returning at Extreme Rules 2022 last October. He has worked just one television bout since then, felling LA Knight at Royal Rumble 2023 in January.
