Bray Wyatt: What Went Wrong?
New WWE Champion Randy Orton was just weeks away from being fed to the catastrophic Jinder Mahal experiment, but the bones of his feud with Bray were still to be picked at. The less said about their horrendous House Of Horrors match the better, because enough words were certainly wasted on the atrocity at the time anyway.
Wyatt won long after it mattered (a bizarrely common occurrence for a man with magical powers), but wasn't finished sh*tting up 2017. A never-ending feud with Finn Bálor was remembered only for everything that was absolutely rancid about it. He once tipped a bucket of bloo-"viscous acidic liquid" over him in a scene that resembled Spaghetti Bolognaise slashfic, lost clean to 'The Demon' and 'The Man' versions of the former Universal Champion and jobbed out to mumps ahead of him working as 'Sister Abigail' in cheap make-up and a dress.
Bray Wyatt was broken, confirmed. It fell then to a man who couldn't quite be referred to as such, to fly in a drone to airlift him out of the sh*t.
