Brian Cage Jumps From AEW To ROH: Joins Tully Blanchard Enterprises In Shock Debut
‘The Machine’ makes shock ROH appearance as a new member of Tully Blanchard Enterprises.
Tully Blanchard has launched a stable in his own name (if not his image) at ROH Supercard Of Honor, with former AEW star Brian Cage front and centre.
The group are (thus far) made up of made up of Cage, Kaun and Toa Liona, and we’re all supremely successful in their first outing as a unit,
Kaun and Toa Liona we’re seconded by the former Pinnacle member during the pay-per-view pre-show before Blanchard returned on the main card with a mystery opponent to take on Ninja Mack.
That opponent was Brian Cage, who destroyed Mack in a joyously spirited and violent squash. TBE were christened as such on the night, suggesting this will form part of an early major angle for ROH under Tony Khan’s stewardship.
Liona and Kaun were victorious over Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger & Eli Isom), with Blanchard noting in a post-match promo that was more dominance to come.
Cage last wrestled on AEW television in October 2021, and only worked for the company after that on Jericho Cruise shows shortly afterwards. A recent re-signing of his contract with the company shocked many, but it appears that he may be one of several to bolster ROH’s ranks on the weeks and months to come.
