Britt Baker & The Young Bucks Tease Adam Cole To AEW
Is Adam Cole about to become #AllElite? Britt Baker and the Bucks want you to think so...
Britt Baker and The Young Bucks have teased Adam Cole heading to All Elite Wrestling following the former NXT Champion's loss to Kyle O'Reilly at TakeOver 36 last night.
Cole could be on the verge of becoming a free agent in the near future, with a short-term agreement to work for WWE through SummerSlam 2021 weekend set to expire imminently after his original contract ran out in July. A jump to AEW has been speculated, strengthened by the fact that many of Cole's close friends work there, and Baker and the Bucks stoked the fires last night.
Adam used his girlfriend's Lockjaw finisher on O'Reilly during the TakeOver bout, leading to Britt tweeting the following:-

The reigning AEW Women's World Champion also liked a Bryan Alvarez tweet on "the end of an era" in NXT, before quote-tweeting the latest Young Bucks bio update:-

Said Bucks bio currently features a YouTube link to The Most Infamous Seances in History. This ties to AEW, as Cole was written out of Being The Elite when Matt and Nick Jackson "murdered" Cole prior to him signing with WWE in 2017.
Per Fightful Select, Cole is yet to sign a WWE contract extension.
